Happy Birthday Danny Elfman!

The legendary film composer Danny Elfman turns 63 today. Elfman is well known for his collaborations with director Tim Burton (The Corpse Bride, Dark Shadows, Alice in Wonderland, Batman, etc.) and for redefining the sound of Batman on the big screen with his iconic score for the 1989 film.

Happy Birthday Mr. Elfman, here’s to many more years of amazing film scores! 🙂

I literally cannot hear the words “Danny Elfman” without also hearing the music from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory haha. That bit at the start where the kids are all watching that weird singing machine of dolls (a bit like It’s a Small World in Disneyland) all singing “Willy Wonka, Willy Wonka!”

Okay I sound like a nutter granted, hopefully you know what I mean!

    And happy birthday Mr Elfman!!
